Black & White Surfboards

The Black and White Surf Company is based in North Cornwall England and over the years it has gained a reputation for its high quality surfboards. Although best known for their highly successful quads, fish and longboard shapes, Black and White manufacture a range of over twenty models from Classic mals to competition Grom thrusters. Whilst also offering a full custom service ensuring that the customer gets the individual boards they want.

Part of the company’s success rests on its continual refinement of designs and the quality of its finishing, Black and White’s owner/ shaper Paul Waters explains that; “I am fortunate to have access to the best materials and glassing available. I personally shape, fin, sand and polish every board that comes out of the factory, therefore ensuring the highest quality boards available. I always prefer to talk through board designs with my customers, find out their ideas and ability before deciding what is best for them……Keeping close contact with customers and receiving feedback is really important to me, its just as important for me to know an intermediate model has improved someone surfing as it is to know a team member has won a contest”

Black and White has launched several new models for 2009, including the “Californian Quad”, updated Pro, Noserider and innovations on the Classic Longboards. 2009 has also seen us team up with Off Beat Surfboards to manufacture the newly developed Flex tail surfboard and kneeboard models, with over 12 months of testing these Off Beat boards now offer advancement in design and performance way beyond anything we have surfed before!
